Swedish master luthier Thomas Fredholm is the premiere maker of fine individually handcrafted classical guitars in Scandinavia. Indeed, David Russell recently purchased a new Fredholm Torres Homage classical guitar.
Despite a long waiting list in Europe, we are fortunate to be able to offer from time to time one of his exquisite new concert guitars. With their warm dark well focused musical sound, impressive dynamic range, laser like projection, quick response, smooth even balance, ease of playability, beautiful materials and elegant appearance, these magical instruments represent an exceptional value in a world class concert guitar of great refinement, depth and character of sound.
Most recently the Amadeus Guitar Duo - Dale Kavanagh and Thomas Kirchhoff - have purchased two Thomas Fredholm classical guitars.
Materials: Dark reddish brown/black quarter sawn Br. sides and back, western red ced. soundboard, snakewood bindings, moderately elevated fingerboard for superior playing ease, comfortable neck contour, low easy action, Sloane tuning machine heads, master grade materials, immaculate workmanship and French polish of shellac finish, 650mm string length, Galli Titanium Strings.
