Guitars International with the professional help of our friend, Naxos concert and recording artist John Holmquist, first commissioned Vazquez Rubio to build his Hauser Model a number of years ago. It has since become his best selling instrument. Inspired by Andres Segovia's revered 1937 Hauser I guitar now residing in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the sound of these instruments is warm and focused, possessed of a flexibility and sheen, complexity and elegance, breadth of color and character, power and depth that is distinctly musical, distinctly beautiful: an outstanding traditional concert guitar recognized by numerous professionals still  at a remarkable price.
